| 内容記述 | The 43th National Hospital Organization Fukuoka Hospital Summer Camp was held in 2013. Pharmacy students of Daiichi University of Pharmacy participated in this camp as student volunteers. The purpose of this study is to report on this camp and to clarify effect of pharmaceutical education on undergraduate pharmacy students of experience learning to this camp. Questionnaire survey for pharmacy students was carried out. The survey included questions about knowledge of childhood allergy, mastery of basic techniques for therapy and examination, learning of basic medical behavior, understanding of childhood growth and development, cooperative attitude of medical staff in general treatment with the patient and the patient’s family, motivation for a lecture in university or clinical practice, and free description. We compared the percentage of understanding “Yes” in self-assessment of each survey item (%) of pharmacy students in this survey with those of medical/nurse students in previous study . It was found that pharmacy students obtained generally high self-assessment of each survey item. In conclusion, it was suggested that this camp was useful for exposing undergraduate pharmacy students as well as medical/nurse students to children with allergy. |
